I am a Barcelona-based photojournalist and documentary photographer with experience covering a wide range of subjects under tight deadlines. Alongside this work, I develop long-term documentary projects that allow for a slower, more sociological approach.
Since 2014, nature has been central to my work. I’m especially interested in communities that maintain a close relationship with their environment. This led to a six-year project documenting Pyrenean shepherds, which became The Sacred and the Real, published as both a book and an exhibition.
My current project documents communities across different climates where land is collectively owned and self-governed. For many minority groups, this local management often protects both cultural traditions and the ecosystems they depend on. Rather than focusing on crisis, I highlight how these communities offer practical, grounded solutions for biodiversity and climate resilience.
The first story, set in Romania’s continental climate, was published in the July 2025 issue of National Geographic Magazine. I’m now working on the next one in Senegal, in a tropical sub-equatorial region.
