Katie Orlinsky’s photography tells stories about the everyday lives of people in extreme situations, capturing the intimate moments of daily life behind larger global issues. She began her career in Mexico thirteen years ago, and since then has photographed all over the world documenting everything from conflict and social issues to wildlife and sports. Since 2014, she has been working on a long-term photographic project documenting the human stories of climate change across the Arctic. Katie received her BA from Colorado College and MS in Journalism from Columbia University. She is a regular contributor with National Geographic and a member of Prime Collective.
