Thomas Nicolon (France 1987) is a conservation photojournalist and a National Geographic contributing photographer.
His photo work focuses on conservation in tropical rainforests and the growing conflict between humans and wildlife.
Thomas lived in the Democratic Republic of the Congo for 5 years, where he was a regular contributor to National Geographic, Le Monde, Mongabay, Reuters but also NGOs like the World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF) and the Wildlfie Conservation Society (WCS)
His latest project for National Geographic was a story on the snakebite crisis in Africa, which took him to Guinea, Kenya and the Democratic Republic of Congo. It was published in the December 2020 issue.
